Book Fair will be open April 9-12 during the school day. We will have early and late hours on April 10 and late hours on April 11.

Mrs. Ulfig, our corp wide librarian, reading and teaching literary concepts on Dr. Seuss books to 3rd graders! Also teaching about the Dewey Decimal System and setting up a March Madness bracket on which Dr. Seuss book gets the most votes! Making learning and reading fun!

As winter sports come to an end, it makes me think of all of our coaches and all ECA sponsors who spend many hours outside of regular school hours to work with our students! Your commitment and hard work to help further develop and make an impact on our students in this way is much appreciated! Good luck to the JH wrestling team tonight for the ACAC tournament! Good luck to our Archery Team that will be competing in the state tournament this Saturday!

Solid reading and writing instruction today in Ms. Lieurance's 1st grade class! Using some cross curriculum - teaching about careers as she is teaching reading and writing!

English 9 with Mr. Cherry today! Solid vocab work and a relevant and practical spelling test idea, picking common misspelled words that he has been seeing in student papers! Also, reading and learning about The Odyssey! A lot of great learning going on!

A little Kan Jam today in PE class with Mr. Yencer! Mr. Yencer does a great job giving his students modern, relevant, and engaging activities that foster coordination, skill, and movement!

Mrs. McMillan teaching reading fluency, comprehension and sequencing to 2nd graders through learning about very relevant topics (especially for 2nd graders) on how Dum Dum Lollipops are made in their factory! Did you know 12 million Dums Dums are manufactured per day!

Enjoyed Poetry Slam today, ran and organized by Mr. Gates! Awesome experience for students being up front performing their poems! Mr. Gates does a great job coming up with creative and engaging learning activities for SW JH English students!
